WEIGHT, CANCER, AND FOOD CHANGES Connections

There are different triggers to cancer like smoking and various others that might contribute to the idea that it might not happen with you.

Yet a lot of influence has simple daily choices like whether to sit in front of a TV with a bag of chips or go for a walk as well as various other opportunities. The first indicator that needs additional attention is weight as it not only lowers the activity ability but also can cause different health problems that, with time, might become especially risky to solve.

Numerous studies have been carried out to determine the causes of cancer in people. It is a 21st-century problem that, according to the American Cancer Society, in 2015 were 1,658,70 new cancer cases and 589,430 deaths from it in the US only.[1] Additionally, according to the World Health Organization, almost every three-person among US adults is obese.[2] These numbers are only increasing; thus, it is an important issue that needs further attention from everyone. Researches have also found direct weight circumference link with cancer ((RR = 1.9; 95% CI = 1.1-3.3; P = .02)[3] and other problematic aspects that mainly come from lifestyle and food choices.

Everyone can love her or his risk with different cancer-fighting foods or so-called cancer prevention diet. The proof is found by various researchers and studies themselves that food can make a huge difference in everyone’s life. It is crucial to support and strengthen the body and immune system that can be crucial to fighting off various diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular problems, and others that usually appear less severe and without the right approach lead to more severe.

There are foods that “fuel” cancer as well as more nutritious foods that help to avoid or at least postpone it. Perhaps you didn’t know that eating processed meat on a daily basis can trigger colorectal cancers, but soy foods (tofu, edamame) can reduce breast cancer risk. Helpful for a variety of cancers are fruits and vegetables as they have a lot of vitamins and nutrients that the body needs to enhance its function. They also are low in calories thus perfect for losing weight. The previously mentioned meat might first appear like a great source of strength and health, but it is not that much a case because meat doesn’t have much fiber and other important nutrients.[4] You can find nutrients in various foods but especially in flavor food that is full of herbs and spices like curry powder, ginger, garlic, coriander, turmeric, basil, and rosemary.

Even really small diet choices can not only help to deal with the weight but also lower the risk of cancer. The right diet can boost the outlook, mood, and overall body. Important is to focus on nutrients and other useful supplements as well as also to know and follow which foods a person should avoid.
