Functional Forum

Mor’s Nutrition and More is proud to host the Functional Medicine Silicon Valley-Cupertino, CA Forum

WHAT IS IT THE FUNCTIONAL FORUM?

The Functional Forum is the world’s largest integrative medicine conference. This new concept in practitioner education brings together the latest health updated and news.

Each Month, practitioners gather together at local meetup groups in over 8 countries and 100 cities around the world to watch the latest health news, functional medicine research, practice development strategies, and health technology on the Functional Forum.

We curate the industry’s leading innovators in a mixed-media format that combines interviews, TED-style talks, videos, audience interaction, and music, all archived for free forever on our YouTube channel.

A DIALOGUE BETWEEN PRACTITIONERS

The Functional Forum creates a dialogue between practitioners that are sharing best practices, asking tough questions, and helping each other to create the greatest impact with their patients and communities.

THE GOAL

We scale our influence through empowering the community in every corner of the globe, encouraging and facilitating meetups around this monthly content. This comes at an exciting time for functional and integrative medicine, not only clinically, but also in the innovative business models being developed around the country. With health politics raising more questions than answers and with technology changing the healthcare landscape for good, there has never been a riper time for health innovation.

Correcting Damaged Metabolism

SPEAKER: Dr. Dan Kalish

MON, May 14, 2018

CUPERTINO – SILICON VALLEY FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE FORUM

Dealing with a damaged metabolism due to environmental, lipophilic and bio-toxins can be manifested in many different body systems; depleting our ability to generate ATP molecules. In this LIVE event, Dr. Kalish will go over the “hypometabolic pattern” as represented on Organic Acid testing, which impacts our energy production, hormones, and metabolism. We welcome esteemed speaker, Dr. Dan Kalish, founder of the Kalish Institute, an online mentorship program dedicated to building Functional Medicine practices. Since 2006, the Kalish Institute has helped develop practice models for over 1,000 practitioners worldwide.

Graduates of The Kalish Institute include practitioners ranging from Dr. Mercola’s medical staff to Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic physicians. Dr. Kalish works closely on curriculum development with Richard S. Lord, Ph.D., the scientist that developed much of the lab testing in use today including the GI Effects and Organic Acids.
