And I almost lost my husband because of it.

My nutrition journey started years ago, back when my husband and I were raising our two kids.

Out of the blue, his kidneys started failing…fast.

Here I was, a mother of two, trying to hold it all together, not sure if I would see my husband the next day…

I was terrified of being a single mother

We bought into everything modern medicine and the media told us would work:

Juice cleanses, no-fat, no-carb, no-sodium, keto, paleo, vegan, Whole 30, no blue light, all fruit, supplements, pills, powders, and more…

We saw specialist after specialist, feeling like we were running on some deranged hamster wheel.

Eventually, I accepted my husband’s fate.

Maybe health was just an accident—some people are born with it, while others aren’t so lucky.

After weeks and weeks of this, I tried to make my husband as comfortable as possible, bracing myself for the impact…

Then I realized that we’ve got “health” ALL WRONG.

I realized that all of these specialists, online gurus, and health companies weren’t trying to make us healthy at all.

They were trying to make money off of us.

This is their definition of “health”:

The current fad diet or trend is the BEST way for EVERYONE.

You need to buy 47 “health products” to stay young or you’ll shrivel up like a raisin.

Doctors are always right and should be trusted without a second opinion.

If you have a disease, it’s YOUR FAULT and modern society takes no responsibility.

Your body is weak and needs pharmaceuticals to survive.

Everyone else knows your body better than you do.

Your children need processed oils and GMO-filled foods to be healthy.

If you disagree with any of this, you’re crazy.

No wonder my husband was dying!

And yet, after saving my husband’s life, I KNEW that this didn’t have to be our destiny.

Picture this:

You wake up in the morning refreshed and excited for the day.

Health is balance.

Health is NOT another product someone's trying to sell you.

So, how do we reclaim our body’s natural health?
It comes down to a few questions:

Don’t just say “lose weight” or “build muscle.” Those are surface level.

I’m not saying you should never lose weight or build muscle…

But in reality, your true goals go deeper.

Be real with yourself and get specific about the life you want to live.

The more you do, the more you’ll realize that fitting into those jeans or having a six-pack are only results, NOT the goal.

Health requires more than taking a few supplements or working out more.

It requires asking new questions and uncovering some uncomfortable truths:

Are you ready to admit that your supplements and fad diets don’t work?

Companies rely on this confusion and herd mentality to sell us more stuff, regardless if we actually get healthier.
