Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs fresh (or frozen) organic wild salmon cut into 2-4 pieces
- 1 organic chopped white onion
- ½ cup squeezed organic fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup organic fresh chopped ginger
- 2-4 organic fresh chopped cloves of garlic
- ¼ organic fresh chopped jalapeño (to taste)
- ¼ cup organic fresh chopped cilantro
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup of water
Directions:
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth and water to a boiling point, then reduce heat
- Add white onion and cook for 2-3 minutes
- Place wild salmon on top of the onion; keep cooking for 3-5 minutes
- Flip salmon and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until both sides are ready (no more than 10 minutes both sides as overcooking is one of the biggest mistakes that you want to avoid)
- Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix lemon juice with ginger, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, salt & pepper.
- Sprinkle the sauce on top of the wild salmon and serve immediately
