Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dry Hummus
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (or any other oil you have)
  • 1/3 cup of silane (date syrup)
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry chili
  • 1/2 chili pepper finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt

 

Directions for crispy, crunchy chickpeas

  • Soak the chickpeas in plenty of water for 8 hours or overnight
  • Place the grains in a pot with plenty of water (without salt) and cook until the grains are soft but not break
  • Drain and let cool completely
  • Heat oven to 350F
  • Mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl
  • Transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and mix well so that they are completely wrapped in the seasoning mixture
  • Pour the Chickpeas on a baking pan lined with baking paper and bake for 20 minutes
  • Remove the pan from the oven, stir carefully and bake for another 15 minutes
  • make sure the grains don’t burn
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool and serve
